AtA was founded in Athens in 2009, to initiate ideas blending artistic exchange & community engagement - mainly - in the public space.
 
Each AtA initiative is human-oriented, informed by local history and residents’ daily life, who contribute to making change happen in the area they live in. 

Every time a new project begins, we initiate a research locally, to find people, organisations and collectives whose work and artistic practise reflects the project theme. 

This multisensory, cross-disciplinary approach has significantly expanded our network, and made complex ideas possible, such as kaos, and Παιγνιόθεν, two projects we 'd like to come back to.
