Invitation to join [about siblings]

Dear girls and boys - mums and dads,

We are very excited to be exploring the beautiful and multi-facet relationship of siblings via our creative project called [about siblings] and would love to invite you on board!

In these times of a global pandemic and isolation, we believe that everyone deserves joyful moments in their day-to-day life and we aspire to enter siblings’ lives through meaningful acts of joy and togetherness.

[about sibling] – ‘[as]' at its heart, touches on the many faces of young siblings’ relationships with great interest on how this relationship is being shaped and nurtured when a child’s brother(s) or sister(s) experiences disability and/or chronic illness.

Join us!

[as] targets children and young people who are disabled and/or experience chronic illness aged 9 -17 and their siblings, based in Bristol. [as] is due to be implemented between May and July 2021. Subject to covid-19 restrictions, activities will ideally happen with the physical presence of everyone involved in a school facilities, or virtually.

Together with a team of multidisciplinary disabled and non-disabled artists, educators and health professionals the participants will be exchanging ideas of playfulness, reality, dreams and imagination, they will participate in 1:1 and group interviews, focus groups and creative labs. By mixing music, sound and visual references of illustration and costume design we will create our own music as well as wearable sculptures driven by the participants’ imagination.

Any questions?

We would love to hear from you and be happy to answer all questions and discuss any thoughts.

I have been among the successful applicants at the Atelier for Arts and Production Managers Elefsina-Beirut 2020-21, organised by the European Festival Academy. Although the pandemic, together with social, political and global challenges have postponed the program, I am really looking forward traveling to Athens and Beirut soon.

Artists' Meeting

December 26, 2018

Since μoment creative is my most recent endeavour, I thought it is a great opportunity to share the idea with artists and creatives in Cyprus.

Based on the concept of the playful artists' meetings we initiated in 2009, the event invites young and established performers, students, creative producers, curators and researchers to share and exchange.

Looking forward to see you there!

Among the Ants in Utrecht

June 16, 2018

Among the Ants has always been inspired by multiculturalism, research and development of inclusive art projects in a global context. Since the beginning of 2018 and until 2019 we were based in the Netherlands, while still working in Greece and Cyprus.

While being in Utrecht, I had the opportunity to work with a few festivals, produce one inclusive dance performance, and initiate μoment Creative, the online mentoring platform I have been working on for a long time. The Netherlands was a powerful, challenging, yet fruitful experience in unexpected ways, and gave me the opportunity to meet amazing individuals.
